There is a lot of hype about paid surveys which is being vigorously promoted as a way to earn easy money online. However, you cannot get rich by taking online surveys. Sites which claim to give over $250 or $100 per survey are either scam or require you to give high initial membership fee. But, after joining most of the users are disappointed. You could not even get back the fee you paid.

A true paid survey site is one which is free to join and pays you around 5$ for a 20min survey (leaving those only US, UK and Canada localised sites). These, don't make you rich but you can get some extra income by spending just few minutes a day.
